It took a week but I have secured a job! Gonna be working for Greenpeace on the streets of Auckland raising awareness about the environment etc. If I'm good at it will get to travel the whole country with them, so, wish me luck!

I read that the kiwi is in danger because of a possum like creature that is breeding insanely. There are 7 of these creatures for every person in New Zealand.
They are actually being culled in disgusting ways i.e. spraying poisonous chemicals across the environment which is dangerous to other animals aswell.
The article was on the Independent's website, and actually related to fur. The suggestion was that these possums should be caught and skinned for fur. The New Zealand government could kill and skin the possums in a ethical way which would hopefully stamp out trade from the unethical skinning in countries such as China.
